Saturday: Something that warms your heart:
I've always loved the sky. Is that weird to say? Whatevs. I'm saying it. I've always loved the sky. Whether it is be raining, not a cloud in the sky, or a day like this, it's always something that has fascinated me and made me feel very happy. I feel like an angel's light is shining through the clouds on days like this :) Yeah, I went there. Just call me Mrs. Cheesy.
Sunday: Something that prepares you for the week:
As most of you know, my pups are my world. JJ is back at home in Oklahoma and Jackson is up here with me in Arkansas. At the end of the week, I like to lay in bed with Jacks and just let him love all up on me. I know it's stupid, but I imagine this is something of what being a mother feels like. Having something love you so much and need you just the same. It's a very humbling and wonderful feeling which leaves me fulfilled, happy, and prepared to start the week ahead.
Monday: Something that makes you nervous:
Chemistry has been my kryptonite since I've gone to college. I'm retaking Chem 2 (I just couldn't let my first D ever go-- although I wish I would have just taken the grade and moved on) and it's absolutely killing me. I hate it with a passion and if I never look at another chemical equation again, it will be too soon. Why do I need to know what elements are acid or bases anyway?! I'm doing dietetics people. Not pharmacy. Hmmph.
Tuesday: Something thoughtful:
One of my best friends up here in Fay called me while I was at work and I was feeling down and out because like I said, Chem 2 will be the death of me. After about 30 minutes of hanging up the phone, she came up to the salon where I work and surprised me with this little note and awesome bag of candy. I wanted to cry it made me so happy! I swear I am so blessed with the people in my life. I cannot even begin to describe the love and admiration I have for those few true.
